The Women’s Prison Association has released Full Disclosure: A Guide to Speaking About Your Life in the Media and Public Forums.  The guide asks important questions such as what are the benefits and drawbacks of speaking publicly, and gives in-depth tips on how to best gauge whether the speaking or interview opportunity is one that will carry your message the way you intended it to be distributed and heard.
